Scaphites Ammonite Nodule
This beautiful prehistoric specimen is a nodule of Cretaceous Scaphites ammonite fossils! These incredible cephalopods shimmer a brilliant range of pinks, greens and blues in the light!
They were excavated from the Fox Hill Formation in South Dakota and this matrix measures ~5.5" long!
For decades it could be seen on display at the Hobberlin Museum in Ontario, Canada. We can ship this specimen worldwide!
