Real raptor (dinosaur) egg for sale! This is a real fossilized raptor (theropod dinosaur) egg! It was, likely, originally found in East Asia and was purchased from an old Canadian paleontology collection. It dates back roughly 75 million years and you can even see the preserved, "rippled" texture on the surviving eggshell.
This egg was on display at all three of the previous Prehistoria Museum locations, and was one of the first fossils to enter our collection. It is being, reluctantly, deaccessioned to raise funds for our new location renovations.
