These stunning Cleoniceras ammonite fossils date back to the Cretaceous period and were found in Madagascar! Though they are more closely related to coleoids (squid, octopus, etc), these extinct critters resemble the modern day nautilus - their shells are also filled with spiralling chambers that aided in controlling their buoyancy.
Our mini ammonite specimens are highly polished by the peoples of Madagascar and can be shipped worldwide! Price is per specimen and every one is unique! They measure roughly 2cm wide.
