Real, fossilized, Hoplophoneus sabertooth jaw bone for sale!

Hoplophoneus, which means murder weapon in Greek, is a saber-toothed mammal that lived in North America and Asia during the Late Eocene to Early Oligocene epochs from 35.7 to 30.5 mya.

They aren't true tigers, or felines, but are actually part of an extinct family of carnivores that resembled felines.

This partial bone was found in the Brule Formation of South Dakota.

The bone measures ~3.5" long and comes with custom stand.
