Grey Seal Jaw (Ex-Museum)

Grey seal jaw bone for sale! This is a real grey seal (Halichoerus grypus) jaw! Also known as a horsehead seal, these animals are found across the North Atlantic.
They primarily feed on a wide variety of fish, but have also been known to hunt lobsters, octopus, and even harbor seals and harbor porpoises.
This jaw was on display at the Hobberlin Museum, and after their closure, acquired by the Prehistoria Museum where it remained on display. It has been deaccessioned to raise funds for our operations and renovations.
This jaw measures ~8" long and can be shipped worldwide (excluding the United States. We CANNOT ship marine mammal parts to the United States)!
