Also known as "Antiochus the Saviour", he reduced the regional instability facing his Seleucid Empire at the time of his ascension. It may sound like a very pretentious title, but he was also the last known ruler to be given the ancient Mesopotamian title "King of the Universe".

He was born c. 324 BCE in Babylon, Mesopotamia and died in 2 June 261 BCE.
