Real fossilized dinosaur nest for sale! These are Spheroolithus eggs, from an unknown species, but one of the eggs has been filled with a beautiful, rare, calcite crystallization.
These eggs date back to the Late Cretaceous (roughly 80 million years old) and this nest was acquired from the Hobberlin Museum collection, which operated in Ontario, Canada before going out of business.
This specimen was on display at the Prehistoria Museum but has been de-accessioned to raise funds for our renovations and operations.
