This mesmerizing specimen is a real preserved stingray (Urobatis jamaicensis) that has been chemically transformed using a process called diaphonization!

The skin is largely translucent, and dyes help reveal what lays beneath! This wet specimen is an incredible piece of anatomical reference.

This specimen comes in a 4.75" tall jar.
