This mesmerizing specimen is a real preserved Mantis shrimp (Neodactylus wennerae) that has been chemically transformed using a process called diaphonization!

The body is largely translucent, and dyes help reveal what lays beneath! This wet specimen is an incredible piece of anatomical reference.

These shrimp come in a 3.75" tall jar.
