Egyptian ibis statue for sale! To the Ancient Egyptians the Sacred Ibis was one of their holiest animals and numerous mummified examples have been excavated.

These birds were revered as an embodiment of the god Thoth who, among other deeds, was considered the mediator between the powers of good and evil, and author of all works of science, religion, philosophy, and magic.

This Middle Kingdom (2040-1782 BCE) limestone specimen has had the tail reattached and is missing the head, but it's an incredible and large addition to any collection.

This measures ~11.25" long and worldwide shipping is available!
