These are real pieces of Palo Santo wood (Bursera gravolens) from Peru! Palo Santo translates to "Holy Stick" and is part of the same family as frankincense and myrrh.

While often burned for its beautiful baked apple/burnt sugar style fragrance, the spiritual usage of Palo Santo dates back to the Inca era.

According to local customs, it is used against "mala energia" (bad energy) and, in compliance with government regulations, the wood is collected from fallen branches and dead trees to prevent the over-harvesting of live trees.

These pieces are sold in packs of at least 5 sticks, with an average length of ~2.25-2.5' long. Occasionally, additional sticks are added to account for smaller pieces in a pack.

We can ship these packs worldwide!
