This is a real fossilized Gorgosaurus or Daspletosaurus tooth segment! Found in the Judith River Formation of Montana, this amazing theropod dinosaur tooth dates back 79-74 million years.
Unfortunately, the dentition of these two species is extremely similar - especially at this size. To ensure accuracy, we are simply stating the only two possibilities.
