The sinking of the Tek Sing (translated as "True Star") tragically occurred on February 6th 1822 when her captain attempted a shortcut that ran them aground on a reef. This triple-masted Chinese junk rapidly sunk into the South China Sea, leaving only 208 survivors out of 1600 passengers and 200 crew. In the modern age it is now often referred to the Chinese Titanic.

This bowl was salvaged from the wreck and measures ~4.25" diameter. It can be shipped worldwide!
