Real, antique, sperm whale tooth for sale! These specimens are extremely rare and would make a great addition to any osteological collection.
They have historically been used for scrimshaw by sailors and artists.
This 6" specimen was on display at the Prehistoria Museum but has been deaccessioned to raise funds for our operations and renovations. We acquired this tooth from the Hobberlin Museum collection, which opened in the 1980s in North York, Ontario.
