These are real Javan Pipistrelle (Pipistrellus javanicus) bat taxidermy mounts! Indigenous to South and Southeast Asia, these bats were collected in Lumajang Regency, East Java.

They measure roughly 2.5" tall and can be shipped worldwide! They have been mounted to allow for upside-down hanging. These are found throughout Indonesia.

They are sustainably hunted by the local peoples as a source of food and income. These bats have been studied and rated a level of "Least Concern" on the IUCN index of endangered/at-risk species due to their high reproductive rate and widespread distribution.

These are exported under permit from the Indonesian government.
