Hyracodons were pony-size prehistoric mammal from the Oligiocene period (32-26 million years ago) of North America.

Only standing 1.5m long, the extinction of this medium-sized mammal marked the end of the world's hornless running rhinoceroses.

This particular fragment of fossilized skull was originally found in South Dakota and spent decades on display at the old Hobberlin Museum. This item can be shipped worldwide!
