Dating back to ~3rd century CE, this is a real Ancient Roman chariot fitting!
This fitting is displayed upside down on the stand for aesthetic purposes, but would have been positioned on the bottom of a yoke to prevent the tangling of reins.
This beautiful specimen, sourced from a 1900s German art market, measures ~6" tall and can be shipped worldwide.
