This is a REAL Ancient Egyptian papyrus column amulet!
This antiquity was crafted into the shape of a papyrus column. Though the word papyrus evokes images of their traditional source of paper, the symbolism was much greater in ancient times. The papyrus column (known as wadj' in Ancient Egyptian) was a physical embodiment of youth, growth and rejuvenation - properties that would have been bestowed upon the wearer of this amulet.
