This is a REAL Ancient Egyptian Knot of Isis amulet! It dates back to the New Kingdom (1550-1070BCE) and was acquired from an archaeological estate.
In many ways, the Knot of Isis strongly resembles the better-known ankh. Similar to the ankh, this symbol means "welfare" or "life".
It is theorized that the shape resembles the knotted cloth that Ancient Egyptians used to absorb menstruation.
It is framed in a high quality, American-made, 3.25" tall, riker mount! All of our artifacts can be shipped worldwide.
