Ex-museum, Canadian ammonite and baculite fossil for sale!

Baculites are an extinct genus of cephalopod in the order of ammonites, known for their straight structure (vs the nautilus-style curvature traditional of ammonites).

Ammonites were a shelled marine creature, similar in many ways to a nautilus.

Despite dating back 66-100.5 million years, this specimen spent decades on display at the Hobberlin Museum. It was originally found in Saskatchewan.

Measuring ~6.5" long, this would make a great, and affordable, addition to any collection.

We can ship this fossil worldwide.
