This is a real, partially-fossilized, bison skull fragment! Dating back to the Pleistocene, this Ice Age specimen measures ~26" wide x 7" tall and was found in Nebraska.
The condition of this fossil gives a great opportunity to explore the internal, honey-combed, structure of a bison's skull.

**Please note: in shipping, some encrusted dirt inside the skull's sinus cavities may be dislodged. We have done everything in our power to fully remove it, but the intricate inner structure of the skull makes it probable that some remains.
