This is a real, fossilized, sabertooth skull!
Known as a "false sabertooth cat", dinictis was a sabertoothed mammal found across North America from Late to Early Micoene (37.2-20.4 million years ago).
This partial skull, with restored saberteeth, was found in the Brule Formation of South Dakota.
It measures ~3.25" long x 3.5" wide x 3" tall, including the natural matrix base.
